Terms of service

Last updated: February 2026

The short version

Decision Memos helps you make better decisions by structuring deliberation across multiple AI advisors. You own your content. Use the service responsibly. We'll do the same.

Using the service

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Decision Memos.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You agree not to use the service for illegal purposes or to generate harmful content.
  • Automated or bulk access to the service requires prior written approval.

Your content

You retain full ownership of the questions you ask and the decision memos generated for you. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We access your content only to provide and improve the service.

AI-generated output

Decision memos are generated by AI models and should be treated as structured input to your decision-making — not as professional advice. You are responsible for the decisions you make. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

Subscriptions, credit packs, and billing

  • Ad-hoc Packs are one-time purchases that grant a fixed number of consultation credits. Credits do not expire under current terms. We reserve the right to introduce an expiry period for unused credits with at least 90 days' advance notice.
  • Ad-hoc Pack credits are non-transferable. You may purchase additional packs to add credits to your account.
  • Subscription plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise) are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
  • If you upgrade from an Ad-hoc Pack to a subscription plan, any remaining credits are preserved and available as a fallback if your subscription lapses.
  • Refunds are handled per our refund policy.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with advance notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decision Memos and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding a claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
