Privacy policy

The short version

We collect only what we need to run the service. We never sell your data. Your decision memos belong to you.

What we collect

• Account information — email address and authentication credentials to manage your account.
• Decision questions and memos — the questions you submit and the structured memos we generate, stored so you can access them later.
• Usage data — page views, feature usage, and performance metrics to improve the product. This data is aggregated and not tied to individual decision content.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never store card numbers.

How we use your data

• To generate and store your decision memos.
• To authenticate your account and manage your subscription.
• To improve the product through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, account updates).

We do not use your decision content to train AI models. Your questions and memos are not shared with other users.

Data retention

Your memos are retained as long as your account is active. When you delete a memo, it is permanently removed within 30 days. If you close your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days.

Your controls

• Delete individual memos at any time from your dashboard.
• Export your data by contacting support.
• Close your account from settings — all data is permanently removed.

Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure with row-level security. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.

Third-party processors

We use AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI) to generate decision memos. Your question is sent to these providers during deliberation. We do not permit these providers to retain your data beyond what is needed for the API request.
